Text Banking gives you access to your accounts via text (SMS) messages on your phone. It’s a fast, easy way to look up account balances or recent account history by sending a text command to a shortcode.

Enroll in Text Banking
To enroll, log in to ACUiBranch online account access:
1. Click the "Welcome" heading at the top of the screen,
2. Select ‘All Services & Settings”.
3. Under the Banking Services Tab, select “Mobile Management”.
4. Finally select, “Add Text Banking” and follow the simple enrollment instructions.
Text Banking Commands
For ease of use, we recommend that you add (96865) to your phone’s address book or contacts and name it something that you will easily recognize, such as “ACU TextBanking.”
- B - Balance. Summary of available balances for all accounts
- H - History. Summary of recent transactions per account
- C - Command. List of available text banking commands
- HE - Help. Help content for text banking
- L - Login. Receive a URL for the ACUiBranch mobile browser website. *Note: The ACUmBranch app is the quickest way to access these features.
- S - Stop. Deactivate all Alabama Credit Union text services.
Fee Free ATMs
By texting your zip code to the number 91989, you will get a text back with all the fee free ATMs and addresses in that area. This not only includes stand alone ATMs, but any shared branch location is also shown. They will be listed as (ATM) or (SB) for shared branch.
