Wire Transfers

Wire Funds To Alabama Credit Union

Give the sending financial institution the following wire transfer instructions. These instructions are for domestic and international wire transfers only and are not to be used for ACH payments, direct deposit or other electronic payments:

  • Receiving Financial Institution: Alabama Credit Union, 220 Paul W Bryant Drive East Tuscaloosa AL 35401, ABA/Routing# 262277419
  • Final Credit To: Your name, address, and complete account number
  • For incoming international wire transfers: IBAN, SWIFT or BIC code is not required for our credit union

*To prevent unnecessary delay in funds being credited appropriately, please be sure to use your COMPLETE account number,
including the suffix, separated by a dash. Example: 123456-50

Wire Funds From Alabama Credit Union

To wire funds from Alabama Credit Union to another financial institution in the United States, or to complete an outgoing international wire, please visit any Alabama CU branch location.  You can also send a secure message to our Member Care Agents through your online banking, via the 'Contact Us' section. 

Are There Any Fees To Use Wires?

$14 fee for all incoming domestic and international wires.  

$14 fee for outgoing domestic wires.  

$50 for $10,000 and under and $100 for over $10,000 for outgoing international wires. 

**International transfer to a new recipient - We will charge $50 for the test wire in the amount of $50-$100, and once we get a confirmation from the member that the test wire was successful, we will wire the rest of the funds and charge a second $50 fee.
